About Me
Glitter is an up-and-coming fashion designer from Texas. Glitter was born in Austin, TX but grew up in the Hill Country. Glitter decided to pursue an education at The University of North Texas for a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fashion Design. There they achieved a strong fashion design foundation, that let them pursue and complete an internship at Harkensback. At Harkensback a fashion boutique in Dallas, TX they were able to see firsthand how the fashion industry worked at an entrepreneur level. Glitter works primarily with soft materials such as textiles and some hard materials such as boning and closures to create unique well-made garments. These garments would let them compete in the Fashion Group International Dallas annual competition and have their work exhibited at the University of North Texas’ College of Visual Arts and Design building. Their current project is their Senior Fashion Collection, Crimson Mortality; a four-piece collection composed of garments. and it is their exploration of the color red and its appearance in the natural world.
